Kwara United boss Abdullahi Biffo has refused to underestimate Rarara FC, ahead of his side’s Ahlan Cup 2019 quarter finals at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Monday.
The Harmony Boys go into the game unbeaten in the Ahlan Cup 2019, Ahlan Cup Media reports.
With the giant killing Rarara FC fielding talented players, Biffo insisted his side were fully focused on their clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
“It’s the here and now that counts,” Biffo told Ahlan Cup Media, adding: “(The players are) well-prepared, and I’m confident we’ll take the hurdle, albeit not an easy one.
“We respect all our opponents but of course we’re aiming to win against Rarara FC.”
The former Giwa FC and Abia Warriors gaffer added: “All our opponents give it at least 100 per cent against us, so we too must put in 100 per cent otherwise it’ll be difficult.
“(Rarara FC are) compact, they want to play positive football, and they have very quick players at turnovers.”
“We are aware of the seriousness of the task. We want to play our game, full throttle forward.”
The game will kickoff at 4pm.
