The match which was played at the Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan left the fans and supporters of the Kwara United frustrated with countless goal chances putting to the bin.
The Harmony boys who have adopted the Adamasingba Stadium Ibadan temporarily for their home matches had a plethora of chances to bury the game but the lack of clinical finish denied them a win in their backyard.
“I am totally disappointed with the boys especially in the second half. All that remains is just for us to put the ball into the net but we lost concentration in the box area of the opponents and we will go and work on the final touches that can get us the needed results because this is an abridged league which is like a knockout game and you need points”.
Coach Mohammed Abdulazeez noted that their visitors are not pushovers, adding that the Harmony boys were lucky not to have conceded any goal.
The Coach added, “But we still thank God for one point as we didn’t make a careless mistake that will make us concede in the game because if you look at Gombe United , they are not pushovers , so we continue how we can adjust in the subsequent games”.
Kwara United’s next game is against Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Thursday, January 19.
