The Chairman of Kwara Table Tennis Association, Mr Shola Owolabi, has called on well-meaning individuals in the country to care for the less-privileged at this trying period.
Owolabi made the call on Sunday, while distributing palliatives to table tennis players and special athletes at the Ilorin Stadium.
He noted that the gesture was to assist the athletes in cushioning the effect of the lockdown, occasioned by the lockdown as the virus vaccine is yet to be discovered and the lift off the lockdown unknown.
Owolabi further advised the athletes to be committed and focused in their chosen career as this is the only way to make themselves responsible and useful to the society.
