Kwara State Basketball Association Mourns Justice Ajanah

The Kwara state Basketball association has joined others to mourn the death of Kogi state Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Ajanah who passed away on Sunday morning in Abuja after a brief illness.

Chairman of Kwara state basketball association, Dr Joseph Adeyemo in a statement made available through the secretary Bello Azeez, in Ilorin on Monday described the news as shocking and sad development.

“Justice Ajanah was our association patron, the position he has held for a very long time and will be remembered for his excellent services towards the game, he was vibrant, a wise leader, patient, loving and the visionary leader who always emphasizes with equality at the game. He was among the pioneers of Kwara state basketball association and played for Kwara Falcons a very long time ago. He contributed alot to Nigeria basketball through his annual Justice Ajanah Inter-Basketball competition in Kogi state”.He said.

While relaying the messages of all basketball stakeholders in the state, Dr Adeyemo noted “everyone’s thoughts are with the families and the people of Kogi state and we pray the Almighty God will give everyone most especially his families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss while adding that may his gentle soul rest in peace’, He concluded.
