The Management of Kwara Ladies Football club of Ilorin has sent a congratulatory message to the first lady of the state, Dr.Mrs Olufolake Abdulrasaq for being elected as the second vice president of the Nigeria Softball & Baseball Association over the weekend.
A statement issued through the club media officer, Nusirat Popoola, said the chairman of Kwara Ladies FC, M.J Daudu in his message, congratulated Dr.Mrs Olufolake Abdulrasaq for emerging as the second vice president of NBSA, describing it as an evidence to her commitments to sports development.
He commended the effort of the wife of the executive Governor of the state for her dogged determination in repositioning female football in Kwara through her continuous support to Kwara Ladies FC.
Daudu also restated the Management’s pledge in ensuring Mrs. Abdulrasaq efforts will not go unnoticed and wish her a successful tenure as an executive member of the baseball and softball association.
Recall the new executive members of the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA}, emerged over the weekend after the election in Abuja, as the wife of Kwara Governor, Dr, Mrs Olufolake AbdulRazaq emerges as 2nd Vice President of the body.
