The Kwara State Football Association and Kwara State Sports Commission on Friday have pledged to support and partner relevant football Stakeholders to promote the game of football.
Kwara FA Chairman, Mallam Idris Abdullahi and Executive Chairman of the Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji stated this on Friday in Ilorin while playing host to the leadership of the Kwara State Chapter of the Super Eagles Supporters Club in their Office respectively.
Mallam Idris Abdullahi who saluted the group for identifying with the FA in it’s Programmes and activities, disclosed that Kwara F A remained the custodian of all football related matters in the State.
He charged the leadership of the group to be united, committed and speak with one voice in their programmes, to serve as a role model to other Chapters in the Country.
In his own submission, Mallam Bola Magaji also promised to be part of the group and urged them to work towards Promoting Nigeria National teams.
Earlier, the acting Chairman of the group , Mr Abdul Momoh, represented by it’s acting Secretary, Mr Yomi Benson Praised Mr Abdullahi Idris led Kwara FA for promoting football in accordance with it’s ethics in the State, adding that the visit was to intimate the FA of the existence of the Super Eagles Supporters Club in Kwara State.
He said Kwara State aligned with Vincent Okumagba’s Super Eagles Supporter’s Club because of its passion and commitment to promote National teams in the country, calling on critical football stakeholders to support the group to achieve the purpose for which it was established.
