Chairman of the Kwara state football association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi has sent out a condolence message to the chairman of Nasarawa united, Barr Issac Danladi, Nasarawa state Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali and the families of Chineme Martins who gave up the ghost over the weekend.
In an emotional message by the FA Boss which read:
” It is with sadness that we are passing our deepest condolence on the recent passing of Chineme Martins. He will always be remembered as a great team player. His on the field competitive style and skill were only surpassed by his incredible positive influence.
Chineme will be particularly remembered for his dedication. He worked tirelessly and was an extraordinary player.
Our condolences also goes to the Family of Chineme. May you always hold fond memories of his life with you.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and we hope that in a small way they help through these trying times”.
Chineme Martins collapsed during week 23 of the Nigeria Professional Football League match involving Nasarawa united and Katsina united in Lafia but gave up the ghost despite attempts to revive his life.
