The Kwara state football association has been described as the center, signpost, and Landscape for football organizations and operations in Nigeria.
The latest reaction occurred during a solidarity visitation by Ekiti State Football Association to the Secretariat of Kwara State Football Association on Thursday.
A wide range of discussion were raised which hinges mainly on collaboration, exploring, and creating a system to enhance the smooth running of football projects.
During the visit, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi, Chairman Kwara FA while receiving the Entourage from Ekiti, applauded chairman of Ekiti FA, Adebayo Olalenge for his vision for Ekiti Football, saying he has peculiar qualities for the leadership role in Nigeria Football having played a crucial role in addressing critical issues.
He described Adebayo Olalenge as a visionary partner whose style of Administration will yield positive results in the foreseeable future.
Thuraya, as he’s fondly called, also commended the Secretary of Ekiti FA, Idowu B.S & other board members for rallying behind Mr. Olalenge as he advises on the need for sacrifices at crucial times to enhance the running of the administration.
He similarly declared that his led board will work hand-hand with their Ekiti counterparts in accomplishing their mission and vision for football development in Ekiti especially in setting up a football Secretariat in the state
Chairman of Ekiti FA, Adebayo Kehinde Olalenge who led the delegation to Ilorin said his board was convinced that Kwara FA led by Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi has the driven tools for the efficient running of football operations which inform their decision towards the visit.
He noted his led board has to earmark various programs to scientifically harness and develop football in Ekiti but has to learn the pathway to success from Kwara FA.
Adebayo, a board member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), praised the Giant’s strides of Kwara FA since it’s inauguration and mentioned Legends like Rashidi Yekini and the rest are enough to identify with Kwara.
” We’ve read on papers and heard a lot but we decided to come an see how things are being set before we get going and we want to use this opportunity to tell Kwara FA that we want a relationship where our cadet & female teams would come to camp, play and feel the environment in your state.
“We want to use Kwara light to see in our own darkness” Adebayo Olalenge Concluded.
Hajia Segilola Alaya, board member of Kwara FA while her thoughts, expressed delight at the visitation by Ekiti FA and pledges her commitment to establishing a working synergy between female football teams in Kwara and Ekiti State.
