The Kwara state football association has confirmed the resumption of football activities in the state.
This was contained in an announcement on Friday morning by chairman of the association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi, who stated the FA has officially declared the return of football activities following consultations and clarifications on guiding protocols.
Malam Musa who was delighted with the latest development, assured all concerned parties that no stone will be left unturned in addressing challenges that may arise to hinder the game while also calling on all stakeholders to abide to all guiding protocols as provided by the Nigeria Football federation.
He stated that following the fumigation of the stadium, the following directives must be duly observed at all football activities in the state:
1. Washing of hands with water and soap
2. Availability of Sanitizers
3. Availability of Temperature 🌡️ infrared
4. Using of Nose mask
5. Social distancing
6. Play in open place
7. Not more than 120 players and officials from a match day and not more than 60 for training.
8. Referees are to STRICTLY ensure all protocols are observed before commencement of any football game.
The chairman while hammering of the need to follow the guiding protocols, explain the delay was a result of clarification of events from the NFF and thank everyone for their usual cooperation.
