The Kwara State Football Association wishes to announce that it has officially extended the sales of nomination forms for the Ilorin central bye election to the 13th of August 2020.
Decision to extends the acquisition of forms was arrive at following a consultation between the leadership of the state FA board and the electoral Committee chaired by Alh. Saliu Ojibara.
A statement issued on Friday by Secretary of the Football Association, Kashim Agaka, noted that by the development, the last day for the sale of nomination forms has been extended from the earlier announced date of August 6, 2020 to a new date of August 13, 2020.
He maintained that all other arrangements related to the nomination processes for the Election remain as earlier announced and called on aspirants and other stakeholders to be guided accordingly.
According to the line up of events released, collection of forms for a Non refundable fee of thirty thousand (30,000) will end on August 13th.
Screening of applicants and all other processes comes up between the 21st – 25th while the election has been scheduled for the 29th, August 2020.
The FA, while tasking all stakeholders to join hands with them to make the electoral process successful, restated all forms of football activities remained suspended in the state and warned that anyone found wanting will be duly sanctioned.
