Expressing his satisfaction, Obinna commended his team’s effort and emphasized their ultimate goal:
“My boys gave their best today. They played a solid game, and I’m proud of them. My focus is always on tactics, and my target remains the NPFL,” he said.
With this result, Kun Khalifat FC remains atop the Nigeria National League (NNL) Conference B standings with 22 points from nine matches, boasting seven wins, one draw, and a single defeat.
The victory further cements their push for a spot in next season’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Next, Khalifat shifts focus to an away clash against Madiba FC on Friday, February 21, 2025, as they continue their pursuit of promotion.
