David Nwachukwu was the star of the show for Kotec FC as they thrashed Reality FC 5-0 on Wednesday in the penultimate game of the Ikeja Divisional League.
The forward had a hand in every goal, scoring three times and providing the assists for the other two goals. Speaking to Sports247 after the game, Nwachukwu expressed his joy with his performance.
“I feel great because I’ve always wanted to do this. Even in our previous games, I have been trying to score more goals. I have scored like 10 goals since joining the team at the halfway point of the season. I am very happy with my performances.”
The youngster who cites Robert Lewandowski as his role model, dreams of having a career at the top of the game.
“I want to play at the highest level and to represent my country,” Nwachukwu said. “That is the target I set for myself. I want to play in Germany and I want to play for FC Bayern Munich. With the work I’m putting in, I believe I’ll get there in a few years’ time.”
