Anubi criticized the decision to proceed with minimal preparation, emphasizing that success cannot be expected without proper training and planning.

“It’s going to be a surprise, to see them coming and doing well there. That is just it. Let’s be realistic with ourselves.
It is a very short time. If you’ll be going for the All-African tournament and you have a lot of days and weeks to prepare for this tournament, you decided to just come up with a list three weeks or barely three weeks before the tournament kickoff.
I don’t think there is any magic they could go there and perform. But well, we keep expecting and looking forward to the outcome. But I wish them all the best though.”
Anubi’s remarks highlight the importance of adequate preparation in achieving success in competitive tournaments.
He expressed scepticism about the Flying Eagles’ prospects given the limited time available for training and team selection.
While wishing the team the best of luck, Anubi’s comments serve as a reminder of the challenges posed by insufficient preparation and the need for thorough planning in sports competitions.
