In 2018, BetKing started working to change how people enjoy sports in Nigeria. We used new ideas and cared about doing good in society. Now, after five years, BetKing is known for making gaming better and spreading positivity in communities.
BetKing Cares Initiative: Making a Difference in 2023
In support of communities, the 2023 BetKing Cares Initiative took action. Over six weeks, we visited eight states in Nigeria, prioritizing health, well-being, and food security. Collaborating with Market doctors, we conducted health check-ups and distributed glasses, hygiene kits, and maternity kits in 15 communities. Simultaneously, the Food Drive, led by KingMakers employees, supplied essential food packs to families in Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, and Abuja. It’s not just a program; BetKing Cares is our promise to make a positive impact in communities.
Empowering Local Sports Talents: Ikorodu FC Partnership
This year, we proudly became the shirt sponsors of Ikorodu FC, investing in the future of Nigerian football. Our goal is to enhance Nigeria’s sports scene and boost its international sports reputation. But that’s not the only way we’re contributing, we also celebrated Nigerian football legend Jay Jay Okocha with a special match. It’s our way of inspiring footballers and adding to Nigeria’s sports tourism industry.
Youth Development: KidSports Initiative
BetKing, through KingMakers, passionately sponsored various Youth Academy teams, prioritizing the development of local football talent. The KidSports Initiative, an after-school football program, identified and nurtured young talents in orphanages, strengthening their skills and potential.
Innovation in Sports Entertainment: Tobi Bakre and Broda Shaggi Join BetKing
BetKing success comes from always bringing something new and understanding what Nigerian sports fans want. In 2023, we added influencers Tobi Bakre and Broda Shaggi to the BetKing family to connect with even more customers. Plus, we introduced cool features like Casino Bet, Flexicut, Freebet, ACCA Bonus, and a new Android mobile app. These changes are making gaming better and easier to enjoy.
