Kanu International Football Academy has invited 60 players selected from its different centres across the country to its camp at the high brow Ilaji stadium and hotel resorts, Ibadan.
The invited players who are expected to start arriving Ibadan tomorrow, September, 24th, are billed to attend screening exercises to select players dubbed ‘KIFA National Team’ that would represent the topmost football academy at the international scouting championship, as well as, other tournaments across the world.
According to the national coordinator of KIFA, Prince Dapo Ajibade, the camping and screening exercises is not only aimed at selecting the best academy players, but it would also be an opportunity to properly and positively channel the orientation of the young and impressionable footballers towards a better and professional career.
” In line with our uniqueness, we’re poised to take football at the grassroots to untold greatness by providing our youths with a professionally manned and well-structured football academy.
“We believe, too, that during the screening and camping exercises, we shall unearth immensely gifted young footballers that would change the face of football,” Ajibade enthused.
Speaking further, the former boss of Ondo State Football Agency, revealed that foreign scouts are also expected at the week-long soccer fiesta.
