Coach Seye Ajayi, making four changes to the starting lineup, showed confidence in Zubair in goal, maintaining the defensive pairing of Afolabi Olatubosun and Abubakar Aminu. Emmanuel Essien commanded the midfield, while Dayo Agbolade secured his starting position up front.
