The First Edition of Doris Nwadiolu Memorial Cup will kick off on Wednesday, January 13th to mark the 15th Year Anniversary of the passing away of Madam Doris Nwadiolu, the Mother of KG Sports Foundation Director, Dr. Ken Gadaffi.
KG Sports Academy will take on Winners FC at the Gbenoba Grammar School Field. On Friday 15th January, the Academy boys will face off with St Collumbus Grammar School Old Boys. The final match of the Doris Nwadiolu Memorial Club will hold on Sunday 17th January with KG Sports Academy taking on Ekuku Agbor United FC at Ineh Iteh Pry School Ekuku Agbor Delta State.
According to Dr Ken Gadaffi, Director KG Sports Foundation, “This is one way to immortalize my late Mum is who was like a mother to all, She devoted her life in bringing up children and ensuring they grow with values and Ideals and so l am sure she will be smiling in her grave seeing to see young talents playing Football in her honor”
“Doris Nwadiolu Memorial Cup will become an annual tournament that will expand to Towns and Villages in And around Ekuku Agbor the final resting place of the late Women Leader popularly known as Mama Mokola and Mama Div.
