The Director of KG Sports Academy, Agbor, Dr. Gabriel Ken Gadaffi has Lauded Delta Football Association, DFA for conducting a successful election to bring to an end the impasse that has been long drawn in the state football for months. Dr. Gabriel Ken Gadaffi also congratulated the newly elected chairman, Mr Ken Nwaomucha, who emerged as winner with a vote of 26 out of the 27 delegates in the election held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Multipurpose hall, Asaba.
Dr. Ken Gadaffi who is Special Adviser of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and BOT member of the Sports Development and Empowerment Initiative ( SDEI) is currently in the country to promote Grassroots football while reacting to the news said the victory of Mr. Nwaomucha will certainly help the development of football in the state from the grassroots level given his pedigree in Youth Sports Federation and because he is a football enthusiast with passion, especially as an ex-national football player.
He hopes that the newly Elected chairman will bring into the management of the association his experiences over the years to which will help to take Delta State Football to the top echelon of Nigeria Football.
Dr. Gadaffi advised the new federation to work in harmony with the state government, considering the fact that the Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa strive to build sport facilities in the state.
“I dont know Mr. Ken Nwaomucha Personally however from what i gathered, he is a football enthusiasts. He has shown great passion about sports, especially football. And with such virtures I can only see progress and Development for Delta State Football.”
“I implore on him to bring his experiences into the management of football development in the state.” Dr Gadaffi Oppined.
