KG Sports Academy Agbor resumed training on Wednesday May 11 after a month break following the Bet9ja-DFA State League.
The Players have returned to their Gbenoba Grammar School training base today to resume training operations.
After failing to qualify for the Super 8 of the Bet9ja-DFA State League, KG Sports Academy were forced to go on a month long break to allow the senior players rest while the junior players who are involved in School exams, Jamb and WAEC needed to return to school with players only returning on Wednesday evening.
As a result of the Up Coming National U13, U15 and U18 Grassroots football Tournament coming up, the Academy has opened its doors to recruiting new intakes while Senior players aged 19-26 are also returning to camp in preparation for the Asian Tour coming up this summer.
Academy Director, Dr Ken Gadaffi currently in Vietnam for the South East Asian Games welcome all the players through a WhatsApp group chat and encouraged them to take their training programs seriously. ” We have a lot to do this season, many tournaments coming up and most importantly the Asian Tour, so all of you must return to training immediately to start preparation” he stated.
KG sports now run full Football School Curriculum, the program will be ruin every 3 months at different stages and level for the players.
” We now operate a pure football school, Players must sign up for 3 months program after which we evaluate their development and they move to the next level” the Director enthused.
Meanwhile the Camp is now opened for players coming from outside Agbor, However Limited space is available on first come first serve basis.
