It was a clash of local rivals as KG Sports Academy shared the spoils with Ihuyase FC in a 2 – 2 draw in their first blockbuster local Derby game as both teams make final preparations for the Bet9ja-DFA State League at the Agbor Township Stadium.
The Alihamen Based Ihuyase opened scoring inside the first six minutes of the highly intensified friendly, before the Godsent Obuseme responded 2 minutes later to draw level. It is the teenager’s 3 goal in as many games in the preseason for KG Sports.
New Import from Abraka, Best put the Pride of Agbor ahead just before the half time break to give KG a 2-1 lead going into the interval.
Ihuyase changed almost the starting line up in the second half and pushed on to level scores in the 70th minute.
Coach Lansana Dukuray of KG had to shuffle his side as they seek for for winning goal but Ihuyase held tight as both teams eventually settled for the draw.
Earlier on Thursday, KG Sports Academy had played a goalless draw with Star Peak FC, at the owanta Secondary School Ground.
