One of Nigeria’s celebrated top strikers playing in the Korean top flight football, the K-League, Kehinde Lanre, has promised to score more goals in the league, when action resumes on May 8, 2020, after a forced stoppage owing to the pandemic Covid-19.
The 25 years old top striker renowned for his free scoring attribute in international club football, has stated that, he is more than determined to find the back of the net for his club when the suspended K-League resumes, in his attempt to help his club, Incheon FC, win the Korean top flight league title.
He told our correspondent in an interview conducted online, that, before the suspension of the season, he was in his best form to finish as one of the leagues top scorers. Noting, that, he would continue in that stride with the focus to make more rave headlines that not only put him in the spotlight as a top scorer in the K-League, but also get him the desired attention to get the opportunity to help the Nigerian senior national soccer team become greater.
Lanre, who scored 10 goals in 15 appearances for Turkish League club, Denizlispor, in 2019, and also earlier proved his worth at another Turkish club, Ankaragucu, before his move to the K-League, stressed that, he would continue to work very hard and allow his performance in international club football speak for him to earn a place in the Nigerian national soccer team.
