Rivers United midfielder, Kazie Enyinnaya, has announced his departure from the club, marking the end of a significant chapter in his career.
Enyinnaya, who joined Rivers United at the start of the 2020/21 season, took to social media to share the news and express his gratitude for his time with the Port Harcourt-based team.

In his heartfelt farewell message, Enyinnaya reflected on his journey with the club: “Today, I say a big THANK YOU to the fans, supporters, players, coaches, and management of Rivers United Football Club for an amazing four years of great accomplishments. Together, we won one league trophy, reached the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals twice, and I earned a national team appearance while donning the Rivers United colors.”
Kazie Enyinnaya highlighted the honor and pride he felt representing Rivers United: “Being a player of RUFC was an honor, and fighting for its pride on the pitch was the best feeling ever. Saying goodbye to a club that has provided me with such a platform to excel is difficult. We’ve shared both good and bad times, but today, I take away nothing but good memories as my contract with the team comes to an end.”
Looking ahead, Kazie Enyinnaya expressed his well-wishes for Rivers United: “RUFC will always be the pioneer of my success story as I move forward. Even as I bid farewell to the Pride of Rivers, I wish RUFC continued success in the future.”
