Kayode Oke Solomon netted the only goal of the game in the 20th minute, unleashing a brilliant long-range curler into the far corner to ignite celebrations among the home crowd. His outstanding display earned him the Man of the Match award.
With this win, Bendel Insurance climbs to 5th place on the NPFL table with 44 points. The victory also completes a season double over Sunshine Stars, having won 2-1 in the first round.
