Katsina United chairman, Aminu Balele Kurfi is celebrating the club’s progress into the semi-finals of this year’s Federation Cup, and put it down to an expanding the bond among everyone at the team.
Kurfi said during an interview with sports247.ng that team unity and cordial relationships within the club account for their successful surge in the Fed Cup.
Speaking in the wake of their quarter-finals victory against Kwara United of Ilorin, Kurfi said the atmosphere at his club is one of overwhelming peace, which he says makes it possible for the team to keep winning crucial matches.
Kurfi added: “I am happy that that there is always a strong bond of unity among my players and their coaches, as well as all the officials.
“It means our club is not engulfed in unnecessary controversy. We are not bothered by any form of internal tension, as we seek nothing but success on the field of play.
“We are happy with the level we are, at least for now. I must be thankful to players and their coaches, as well as to the staff and management.
“They have all contributed in maintaining high level of discipline at the club, and I am sure that the coming season will even be more successful for us.”
