The Kano State Government has officially announced the dissolution of the interim management and board members of Kano Pillars Football Club.
This decision was made public through a press release issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Kano State, on July 12, 2024.
The tenure of the interim management and board, which had been in place since December 2023, has come to an end.
In a statement, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, expressed gratitude to the outgoing interim management and board members for their dedicated service.
Their contributions were acknowledged as vital in advancing Kano Pillars Football Club. The commissioner thanked them for their hard work, commitment, and dedication to the club and the sport of football in Kano State.
The press release mentioned that a new management team would soon be constituted to lead Kano Pillars FC into its next chapter of success and development.
In the interim period, the outgoing interim management and board members are requested to hand over the affairs of Kano Pillars FC to the most senior civil servant with immediate effect.
This measure aims to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of operations until the new management and board are constituted.
