Kano Pillars FC Chief Coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro, has assured that his team has moved on from their narrow defeat to Remo Stars and is now fully focused on their rescheduled Matchday 20 fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors at home on Wednesday.
Speaking to the club’s Media & Communications Directorate, Yaro-Yaro, a former fan favorite during his playing days, expressed confidence in his squad’s preparations and their chances of securing a positive result against their midweek opponents.
“The loss to Remo Stars was tough to take because we performed well and deserved at least a point, but luck wasn’t on our side.
However, we’ve put that behind us and are now focused on Wednesday’s game against El-Kanemi Warriors, where I strongly believe we will get a good result, God willing,” he stated.
A victory on Wednesday would propel Sai Masu Gida into the top 10 of the NPFL standings ahead of their weekend home clash against Abia Warriors.
Having lost the first-leg fixture 1-0 in Maiduguri, Kano Pillars will be eager to settle the score in front of their home supporters.
