Kano Pillars FC has suspended Technical Adviser Usman Sheriff Abdallah for three weeks following the team’s underwhelming performance and his controversial reaction toward fans after a goalless draw against Bayelsa United on NPFL25 Matchday 22.
Under the leadership of Chairman Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, the club expressed concerns over the team’s inconsistent form, having secured just one win in their last three matches.
Additionally, Abdallah’s post-match conduct at the Sani Abacha Stadium was deemed inappropriate, prompting management to take disciplinary action.
In his absence, club legend and Chief Coach Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro will assume technical leadership, assisted by Abubakar Musa, Gambo Muhammad, Suleiman Shuaibu, and Ayuba Musa.
With this transition, Kano Pillars will now set their sights on a crucial NPFL25 Matchday 23 clash against Remo Stars in Ikenne, hoping to regain momentum and restore confidence among their supporters.
