Kano Pillars booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2018 NFF AITEO Cup after a brilliant 4-2 comeback win against Enyimba at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.
Stephen Chukwude sent Enyimba into an early lead with a decent strike in the 16th minute.
However, it wasn’t long before veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali leveled the score for Kano Pillars as he smashed in a decisive equaliser 20 minutes later.
Chris Madaki handed Pillars the lead in the 52nd minute before strikes from Ifeanyi Nweke and Nwagua Nyima completed the comeback for the Sai Masu Gida boys.
Enyimba however pulled one back via the penalty spot at the death to make it end 4-2 in the thrilling encounter in Gombe.
Sunday Adetunji scored the second goal .
