The chairman and proprietor of Kaduna-based Kada City Stars FC, Ekene Abubakar Adams insists his side will not participate in the 2018 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super-8 play-offs.
Although the emergency committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday directed all eight clubs top proceed to Aba on Wednesday, Adams told sports247.ng that Kada FC will not be part of the contest.
Adams stated emphatically that his side will not participate in the NNL Super-8, because he views the NFF order as an act of interference.
He described the emergency committee’s resolution of the matter as a total disrespect to all chairmen of NNL clubs.
Speaking in a no-holds-barred session with sports247.ng, Adams added: “The emergency committee can go ahead with any kind of decision they so wish.
“It is clear who the enemy of Nigerian football is. At this point, this will be the last stop where I will put my money into Nigerian football.”
