Coach Sherif Habibullahi has been named as the new head coach of KJ United Football Club, Kaduna.
The NLO side made this known this morning at the club’s training ground when he was presented to the players and officials.
An elated Habibullahi thanked the club’s management for counting him worthy to serve and stir the affairs of an ambitious club like KJ United.
“I want to thank God for giving me this great opportunity to serve this great and ambitious club. I also want to thank the club’s management for counting me worthy.
“KJ United have been consistent with promotion chase to the second-tier league in the last three seasons and have always missed out by the whiskers. With the quality of players retained and the few ones to be recruited to strengthen the team, we will attempt once more to pick one of the NNL tickets at stake.
The former coach of Espoir De Zinder FC, Niger Republic is aware of the limited time before the season gets underway and has promised to hit the ground up and running.
“The job starts immediately because I understand that our league has been fixed for the 18th of February, which leaves us with just one month to prepare and build a solid team good enough to compete and conquer.”
Coach Sherif Habibullahi has also coached Alkali Nasara FC, Niger Republic, and Jamba Football Academy where he developed the likes of Timothy Bello, Mathias Kato, and Sogndal FC of Norway and Flying Eagles attacker, Jerome Adams Akor.
