Cynosure FC Head coach Shina Afolabi has left the club by mutual consent.
The club made it know in a statement released Monday: We announce today that the decision has been taken to part company with our head coach Shina Afolabi.
Cynosure FC and Shina Afolabi have agreed to mutually part company today following discussions between both parties.
The club would like to thank Shina Afolabi for his efforts and wish him well in his future endeavours. We have asked Joseph Popoola to take responsibility for the team as interim head coach. We have full confidence in Joseph Popoola to take us forward.
The search for a new head coach is underway and we will make a further announcement when that process is complete.
