Former President Olusegun Obasanjo this morning received Dr. Dayo Israel, Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Abeokuta and National Youth Leader of the APC, at his residence in the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta.

The visit marks the beginning of Dr. Israel’s familiarization tour of FMC Abeokuta and its satellite centers across Ogun State, as he settles into his new role leading one of the state’s foremost healthcare institutions.

During their discussion, Dr. Israel briefed President Obasanjo on his vision for FMC Abeokuta, emphasizing the need for strategic leadership, improved healthcare delivery, and stronger institutional sustainability. He also acknowledged the former President’s contributions to national development and sought his insights on strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the state.
