The Nationwide League One Secretariat in an official release has confirmed that (Buruj Football Club) affiliated with Lagos State Football Association has acquired a division one slot in the Nigeria Nationwide League One as they will now participate in the upcoming season.
The acquisition is based on notice given to the Nationwide League One Secretariat by the previous owner of the slot, FC Rock Kogi State.
Sequel to the above and in compliance with the rules and regulations guiding the Nationwide League One, the Club is now expected to formally finalize the take-over procedure which includes the change of name and location as stated in NLO rules and regulations Article 2:07.
The club has therefore been instructed to liaise with the Lagos State Football Association for further information on players’ registration and other documentation, to enable the club to participate in the 2021 season.
