*Scoring six goals and making 3 assists, how do you feel?
Well, I just have to thank God for the opportunity that I have always been given in Life and football life. You know as a footballer, everyone wants to arrive at the highest level. For me, last year playing in the Europa League and this year, coming back to the second league in Spain, I would say is a good achievement for me, because the team I am is like a big project, big plan, planning to move to the first division and from there, it’s going to be a big boost for everyone.
*Your team is third on the log, and Leganes is fourth, What is your Ambition with Almeria?
The ambition first is to go to the first division in Spain, the potential is there, everyone in the teams wants to be promoted. Everyone knows that the team is supposed to be in LA LIGA. The first budget is to be promoted and then we will see what happens from there.
*In your days with the Olympics team, where you were a bronze medal winner in 2008, under Siasia, how memorable was it for you and your contributions to the team?
That was my first international tournament and it was a pleasure for me to represent my country. It was a dream come through for me because when I was young, the first thing I knew about football was watching the Super Eagles on TV, and then seeing myself in the ‘Green, white, Green’ is a dream come true.
*Sodiq Umah, people are clamoring for you in the Super Eagles team, how ready are you to represent the Super Eagles, If given the opportunity to do so?
Firstly, Nigeria is blessed with young and a lot of talents. We are growing in all the leagues in Europe, as you can see the number of Nigerians there, who are even playing for the England National team. I will always wait for my time, and when it comes, I know I will grab it.
