Striker of Lagos based Premier football club, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries,MFM, Clement Ogwu has said he is not worried over the rumour making round that the League Management Company had resolved to play super six playoff league after the lockdown as a result of covid-19.
Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL and other sporting activities were stopped by the government on March as a result of pandemic disease, covid-19 which is till ravaging the world.
Recently some social media reported that the LMC had concluded to organise super six playoff in Edo State which has not been confirmed by the chairman of League Management Company, Alhaji Sheu Dikko.
Reacting to this unconfirmed report, Ogwu told Journalists in Lagos that he is not worried about the super six playoff rumour saying that whatever organisers decide, is binding on all teams.
“I am not worried about the rumour of super six playoff, If Organisers want to go ahead with the play off I wish all the selected teams for playoff all the best,”he said.
Ogwu who scored five goals so far in the NPFL league thanked his club management for their total support given to the players and backroom staff during the lockdown amidst pandemic disease, covid-19.
Meanwhile social media reported that six clubs have been selected for super six playoff.
Among the teams are group leader, Plateau United, Enyimba FC,Lobi Stars,Kano Pillars, Rangers FC and Rivers United.
