Chairman Depros Football Club, Evangelist Emeka Godson Ehirim has warned Team360 Football Club and other teams in their group to prepare for tough game anytime they face Depros in the forthcoming Surulere Regional League.
Recently the executive members of Surulere Regional League SRL with football club owners came out with a group fixtures.
In a fixtures made available to our correspondent, Group A comprises of Depros FC, Be Arena FC,New Direction FC,Team360 FC,Dannaz FC,Ajuwa FC,Danjuma Babes FC,Box2Box FC,Freigbugerweg FA, and GSC FC.
Group B made up of DRV FC,FC Bethel, Starbase FC,Broad City FC,El-Mirado FC,Emmydihon FC,Jumez FC, Goshen Stars FC,G12 FC and Dominion Hotspur FC.
The much awaited league would commence at legacy pitch of National stadium, Surulere, Lagos. immediately government has lifted ban on football related activities.
Reacting to the draw fixtures, Ehirim told our correspondent that his team are formidable and warned other teams in group A to beware of Depros FC.
“The die is cast and I have known the teams in my group.The likes of Team360 FC, Danjuma Babes,Dannaz, Box2Box FC and others should prepare for war when my team clash with them in the group, “he said.
Ehirim revealed that his players have intensified their personal training while all his coaching crew are up and doing to ensure that Depros FC have a good outing in the forthcoming league.
“We cannot afford to play second fiddle in the league.I am coming to the league to make impact and any team underrate Depros FC at their own peril. I will do everything to motivate my players and win the league,”he boasted.
Meanwhile the chairman of SRL,Alhaji Abiodun Salau has confirmed that four teams in each group would qualify for super eight to determine the real champion while two bottom teams in each group would be relegated to the lower division.
Salau commended the participating teams for adherence to the government directives due to the covid-19.He said the commencement of the league is nearer and urged the participating teams to prepare for the league as soon as government has lifted ban on football related activities.
“Let all the teams begin preparation because we are hoping that soonest government would lift ban on football activities and hostilities would begin in the league,” he said.
