It has been confirmed that the finals of the Winners Golden Bet Lagos State FA Cup would hold on 28, August at the new refurbished Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island.
In a statement issued by the Secretary of Lagos State Football Association, Rabiu-Okikioposu Akeem stated that LSFA/WGB Lagos FA Cup women and men’s finals will take place at the Onikan Stadium.
He however commended the football fans, and stakeholders for their patience and assured them that the Lagos FA board is ready to host a memorable and glamorous final.
In the final female category, Dannaz Ladies would have a mountain to climb as they face a Lagos-based premier club, FC Robo Queens by 1 pm, while Ottasolo FC would battle Dannaz FC in the male category by 3 pm.
Akeem urged the finalists to intensify their preparations ahead of the closing ceremony.
Meanwhile, the Lagos FA Cup finals were postponed last month due to the finalist’s engagements in the national challenge cup.
