Secretary General of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Muhammed Aberejo has tendered his resignation with immediate effect.
Aberejo in a chat with sports 247.ng early today said he resigned because his tenure as secretary is expired and thanked the members of the council for their support given him in the last few years he occupied the seat.
“I have officially informed the council members of my resignation. I have written them because my tenure as a council secretary is expired and there is need for me to leave the seat to allow the exco to appoint an interim secretary pending the time new election would be conducted.
“It is an honour to work along other executive members of the Alimosho Football Coaches Council. During my time, I have been able to accomplish many tasks that have benefited this council and the community.
“I am happy to have worked along side other exco members most especially my late leader Ifeayin Ikpo Moses,and I cherish the relationship we have formed as a team.
“I am preparing to handle all the documents of the council in the next exco or general meeting.
“However,I feel this is the best decision for me at the moment and i will be available as a member to assist the council in the nearest future if i am called upon.You can count on me.I wish my colleagues in the council all the best in their coaching career,”he concluded.
