Nigerian sprinter Joy Udo-Gabriel delivered a dominant performance in the women’s 60m heats at the NCAA Division II Championships in Indianapolis, clocking an impressive 7.22s to comfortably win her race.

Udo-Gabriel was in a league of her own, finishing well ahead of Ashley Barrett, who secured second place in 7.39s. The Nigerian’s commanding display sends a strong message ahead of the final, where she is expected to face stiff competition.
Among her main challengers is Alexis Brown, who posted the fastest time of the heats with 7.18s in her own race. Another contender is E’lexis Hollis, who clocked 7.30s to advance.
