A game of huge consequence and importance for Ikorodu based side Joy Cometh FC and they did the needful as they ran out 1-0 winner over One Rocket in the Nigerian National League.
A win that brings a massive 3 points for the club and lifts them out of the relegation zone was well enjoyed by the team and the goalscorer Daniel Adisa as well.
“I’m happy because I didn’t even believe I’ll play this game,” Daniel said. “As of yesterday, I just came back from Abuja but I had the belief that we’ll win the game. I just knew that whatever came to play us in Agege, I always score them and I had the belief I’ll score too,” he added.
The player who has rarely featured for the team so far this season explained that his noticeable absence from the games so far has been because he traveled to Abuja for a scouting program and returned recently.
Joy Cometh sat in the relegation zone before this game and in his return, Daniel explains what he felt.
“I felt so bad but I believe we’re going to come out and get out of the relegation zone,” he said.
