Kwara United winger Joshua Agboola has expressed delight after winning the man of the match award against Sokoto United at the Ahlan Cup 2019 on Wednesday.
Sokoto United snatched an equalizer through Umar Shettimah at the Sani Abacha Stadium after Dede Moughara had given Kwara United the lead from the penalty spot in the first half.
Agboola who earned Kwara United a penalty in the first half was adjudged the man of the match and he revealed that it was not an easy game though he was up to the task.
”I’m happy to win the man of the match award, it wasn’t an easy game. Both teams played well very well, it was a difficult game but I think a draw is a fair result,” Joshua Agboola says.
”I think my good performance is as a result of hard and extra work. All the players here are very good. It depends on the coaches to select who plays in every game.”
