Winger Joshua Agboola dedicated his man of the match award to coach Abdullahi Biffo after scoring the winner in Kwara United’s 1-0 victory in the Ahlan Cup 2019 against Wikki Tourists.
The former Katsina United playmaker kept fans at the Sani Abacha Stadium on their feet with a breathtaking performance on Saturday.
He was rewarded with the man off the match award as Kwara United qualified as Group B winners with five points from three games.
“I feel great and I must thank the organisers of this tournament. I really appreciate them,” Joshua Agboola began in a chat with Ahlan Cup Media.
“Actually, without any doubt, I would say my coach (Abdullahi Biffo) has very good to me and I have to reciprocate. I am also happy to be part of the team.
“Coach Abdullahi Biffo has been such an inspiration to me. I dedicate this award to him,” he concluded.
This is the second time at Ahlan Cup 2019 that Joshua Agboola earned the MVP award, having achieved same feat in Kwara United’s 1-1 draw against Sokoto United.
