West Bromwich Albion has secured the services of former Bordeaux striker, Josh Maja, in a significant move that bolsters the club’s attacking prowess.

The 24-year-old football sensation has inked a three-year contract at The Hawthorns, marking his return to English football after a successful spell in south-west France.
Joshua Erowoli Orisunmibare Oluwaseun Maja was born on 27 December 1998 in the London Borough of Lewisham to Nigerian parents, he grew up in Pimlico, London.
In August 2019, the Nigeria national team manager Gernot Rohr said he wanted Maja to represent the nation.
He made his international debut on 10 September in a 2–2 friendly against Ukraine, replacing Victor Osimhen in added time.
The journey of this London-born footballer began at Sunderland, where he made his professional debut in the Carabao Cup at the tender age of 17.
His time with the Black Cats saw him gain valuable experience in the Sky Bet Championship and League One.
