Nigeria’s Jordan Attah Kadiri helped his side Lommel SK to a 2-0 win as they secured maximum points against Clubbe Brugge B in the Belgian First Division B game on Friday night.
The 20-year-old was on parade for the entire duration of the game, as he posed a threat all night on the Brugge defence.
Lommel opened the scoring after 15 minutes via midfielder, Kolbienn Thordasson, as they dominated the encounter.
During the closing stages of the game, sandwiched between two defenders, Attah went through on goal but his low drive struck the woodwork and the rebound fell kindly to Anas Hadroury. The youngster was well-positioned to turn it in, doubling Lommel’s lead.
The win leaves Lommel in the 5th position, amassing 21 points from 15 games, as the chase for promotion continues.
However, the former Sunsel FC player expressed disappointment over the failure of the flying Eagles performance in the WAFU Cup.
