Reactions has continue to trail statements attributed to Nigeria born former England footballer John Fashanu.
In an interview with Brila Fm, Fashanu accused late Nigeria Green Eagles Coach Otto Gloria for requesting bribe before he can be fixture for the national team.
Ex England born Nigeria Internationals, Sam Sodje, expressed disappointed over Fashanu statement while listening to him on radio.
“I was disappointed while listening to Fash response as to why he didn’t played for Nigeria during his playing days”.
“He shouldn’t tell false stories and accuse late coach Otto Gloria of asking him for bribe”.
“John Fashanu is a great player no doubt, he made his choice to play for England just like many of us who opt to play for NIgeria”.
“The Green Eagles team back then was very formidable and John’s style of play wouldn’t have suited the National team, I’m positive he would’ve struggled to hold a spot in that talented group of footballers just like what the then captain, Segun Odegbami said”.
