MFM FC goalkeeper trainer John Dosu feels less concerned by the selection choices of national team bosses after no MFM FC players were named in the 25-man home-based squad for Mexico-friendly next month.
Speaking to Sports247, Dosu states that he is not surprised with the list and that the coaches know best. He said:
“I am not surprised because I believe in life everything is time. The coaches that select the team know better. They know where they want the players to be. And I believe that with time MFM players will be there.”
After a poor start to the season, MFM have risen up the NPFL table and are in contention for a continental spot. The former goalkeeper credits hard work for the upturn in fortunes.
“It’s all about hard work, being focused, and dedication to the work you know how to do best. And with God’s mercy, intervention, that keeps us going. I think that what and hopefully we will come out victorious.”
