The maiden JOE Tennis Tournament concluded in grand style at the Calabar Sports Club on Monday evening, with Senator John Enoh, the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, expressing delight at the wealth of young talent on display.
The tournament, spanning nine days, not only celebrated victories but also solidified its commitment to fostering the discovery of emerging tennis talents.

The grand finale featured outstanding performances across various categories, with notable champions and runners-up:
U16 Category: Damilola Agunbiade emerged as the winner, showcasing exceptional skills, while Covenant Con secured the first runner-up position.
Professional Cadre: Charles Olom Odok claimed victory, demonstrating prowess and determination, with Mfon Joseph Obot securing an impressive second place.
Men’s Singles: Effa Ojong emerged victorious, defeating Odey Igrinya to claim the top position. Alaga Joseph and David Alobi showcased their skills, securing spots as semi-finalists.
Men’s Doubles: Manyo Ogar and Ahmed Umar claimed the gold, displaying exceptional teamwork. Effa Ojong and Damilola Agunbiade secured the second spot in this fiercely contested event.
