The Joe Geez Mini Joe Geez MiniBasketball tournament took center stage this Easter holiday in Jos City. It was the finest Basketball event in recent times with music and flare, bringing together young talented players to showcase their skills and also to Foster unity among them.

8 male teams participated in the competition put together by Joe Geez and Plateau Basketball Veterans association. The teams are :
Joe Geez, ECWA Plateau Church, Rebirth Basketball Academy, Reloaded, Young Warriors, Team Hills, Team PBVA, Sun’s Basketball Academy.
The opening game tipped off on Saturday, 30th March at the famous Joe Graba’s Court Jos and the competition continued through Monday 1st April 2024.
Rebirth Basketball Academy lost 43-52 in thr first game but redeemed themselves with a 23-34 win in the second game of Day 1 against Reloaded.
Joe Geezs got 2 wins in day 1 while Reloaded registered 2 losses.
Yesterday 1st April 2024 marked the 3rd day where Semi finals, third place game and finals, women’s exhibition game and finals took place.
Joe Geez emerged Champions wining ECWA Plateau Church 63-33 in the finals.
The winner went away with a whooping N200,000 cash prize, 2nd Prize was N100,000, 3rd got N60,000, MVP – N40,000, Most improved player 20,000, Women’s team received N40,000.
