Nigerian scrabble ace and world champion, Wellington Jighere has disclosed that he is again ready to take on the best from all over the globe and come out on top.
The world scrabble champion disclosed as much in an interview with sports247.ng, in which he said he is prepared to ruffle more feathers at the forthcoming competition in London.
Jighere, though, admitted he might not have enough support from his teammates and compatriots during the competition, as many of them were denied entry visas to the UK.
He expatiated: “It became difficult for many of our members to to get their visas because we did not make the applications as a group.
“For me, personally, though, I am ready to go there and prove myself. I am already working to get better for the competition and I believe that it will be another victorious outing for me.”
