Jigawa State female cricket team player, Blessing Nwobodo has declared that she and her colleagues are ready to spank Edo State on Saturday, when they meet in the 19th National Sports Festival final.
Speaking of her plans ahead of the match at Abuja Cricket Oval, the Jigawa team’s captain told sports247.ng that they are battle ready to take the gold medal to the state capital, Dutse.
Nwobodo also expressed joy over the quality of facilities provided for the sport at the festival, but said the task is to consolidated on what has been gained at Abuja 2018.
“I am happy with the standard we have seen in this sports festival, but I hope that it will be maintained for the development of the game,” she concluded.
